About The Position
Love coaching and working with young athletes? We got you. Passionate about coaching the lifesaving skill of swimming? We are looking for individuals, age 18+ to serve as an Assistant Swim Coach. As an Assistant Swim Coach, you develop important skills such as communication, leadership and responsibility that will serve you for a lifetime!
Requirements
- 18+ years of age
- Participated in competitive Swimming as a student-athlete
- Worked with children ranging in ages 7-18, as either a coach or educator
- Can be a positive role model for our swimmers
- Obtain lifesaving certifications (First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen) - training provided
Responsibilities
- Ability to relate to young student-athletes in the sport of swimming
- Have a knowledge of competitive swimming
- Ability to listen to student-athletes and be an encouraging role model
