About The Position

Our club in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking to hire a seasonal Assistant Swim Team Coach. You conduct swimming classes and individual swimming lessons in a safe and responsible manner. You serve as a role model for the swimmers to follow in the competition arena. Taking pride in your work area, you are conscientious about staff and swimmers adhering to all safety rules and regulations. You enjoy having our beautiful grounds and facilities as a backdrop for your work and get great satisfaction out of helping our members and their children have a great swimming experience!

Requirements

Some High School
Some experience teaching swimming lessons or coaching
Competitive swimming experience as coach or athlete preferred
Knowledge of the rules of the four competitive strokes used in a swim meet preferred
Experience working with children in some capacity preferred
Some swim lesson or coaching experience as well as competitive swimming as a coach or athlete preferred but multiple factors are taken into consideration. Are you organized and able to effectively direct others? Do you easily establish a good rapport with people? Are you patient and even-tempered? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Are you an active listener with effective communication skills? Are you a team motivator?
