About the position

As a Teacher at Champions, you will play a vital role in supporting families and elementary-aged children during out-of-school time. You will partner with school administrators to implement our programs and work closely with students to inspire them to aim higher and think bigger. Your contributions will help shape the future of education in neighborhoods and schools nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Implement KinderCare's curriculum tailored to the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to play and learn
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment and accreditation goals
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community contacts

Requirements

• Outstanding customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
• Able to assume postures in low levels for physical and visual contact with children
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate effectively
