About The Position

As a Preschool Assistant Teacher at Acelero Learning, you will play a vital role in shaping the foundational experiences of children ages 3 to 5 within our Head Start program. Requirements

• A deep commitment to working with young children and supporting their social, emotional, and academic growth in an inclusive, nurturing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members.
• A High school diploma or equivalent
• Hands-on experience teaching preschool-aged children, with the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse developmental needs.
• team-oriented mindset with a willingness to work closely with Lead teachers, family members, and support staff to drive positive outcomes.

• Conduct ongoing child assessments to individualize instruction and track developmental progress across all learning domains.
• Adapt teaching strategies to ensure all children, including those with special needs, dual language learners, and varying developmental levels, are supported.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with families to support their child’s learning and development both at school and at home.
• Actively participate in ongoing training, coaching, and reflective practices, and contribute to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
