About The Position

Assistant Team Manager in Cape Ann Position Summary The Assistant Team Manager supports the Clinical Team Manager in the day-to-day operations, staff support, and coordination of Early Intervention services. This role is designed to strengthen leadership capacity, ensure consistent implementation of program procedures, and provide operational and relational support to EI clinicians and families. The Assistant Team Manager plays a critical role in maintaining compliance, supporting communication alignment, and reinforcing Aspires family-centered and team-based approach to service delivery. This role will also hold traditional EI Specialist responsibilities in a reduce capacity. This position is ideal for an experienced EI clinician who is developing leadership skills and seeking growth into formal management responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in an Early Intervention (EI) Core Team discipline
  • Three years of experience in working with infants, young children, and their families; experience working in early intervention setting preferred
  • Experience supervising clinical and support staff
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle conflict and facilitate collaboration
  • Team Player; maintain a positive and flexible attitude, actively contributes and shares knowledge to fellow Aspire employees in order to perform job, complete tasks, meet goals or manage projects. Collaborate, value opinions/ideas and remain respectful in the work environment.
  • Familiarity with Massachusetts Early Intervention philosophy and MA Department of Public Health EI Operational Standards, OSEP requirements and key performance indicator.
  • Requirements met for license, certification, and DPH regulations mandated by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Experience with Microsoft office, Teams, Zoom, Databases etc.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds independently
  • Valid drivers license and reliable personal transportation

Responsibilities

  • Program & Operational Support Support the Clinical Team Manager in coordinating daily EI program operations, schedules, and service delivery needs
  • Assist with monitoring compliance with Massachusetts DPH EI Operational Standards, OSEP requirements, and Aspire policies
  • Support data tracking related to productivity, service delivery, timelines, and documentation completion
  • Assist in preparing reports, tracking logs, and follow-up documentation to support program oversight
  • Team Support & Leadership Development Provide day-to-day guidance, support and coaching to EI clinicians related to scheduling, documentation expectations, and procedural questions
  • Support onboarding and orientation of new staff
  • Assist with facilitating team meetings
  • Communication & Coordination Serve as a consistent point of contact for staff questions, escalating issues to the Clinical Team Manager as appropriate
  • Support aligned communication across the team using shared templates, agendas, and follow-up tools
  • Support collaboration with community partners and internal Aspire programs
  • Direct Service Provide direct EI service for children and implement their Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) through case management, home visiting and developmental assessment as a member of the transdisciplinary team.
