About The Position
Join us for a fun summer position where you will work with a great team and wonderful club members! Corinthian Yacht Club is a private club located on scenic Marblehead Harbor. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Tennis Pro to be a part of our seasonal team. Position responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Assisting in the operation and maintenance of the tennis facility -including two courts and tennis hutch. Supervising a small staff of tennis Instructors and directing them in daily operations. Assisting the Director in developing and managing the educational, recreational, and competitive tennis programs. Organize and teach tennis lessons.
Requirements
- Ability to coach and direct players with positive, ethical, and approved coaching methods.
- Positive and professional attitude with high degree of integrity.
- Strong work ethic and ability to handle a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- High School diploma or GED required.
Nice To Haves
- BS/BA Degree recommended, not required.
- USPTA certified strongly preferred.
- USTA rating of at least 4.5 or college playing experience is preferred.
- Valid First Aid, CPR, and AED certification preferred, but not required.
- Professional and/or competitive tennis background desired.
- Prior experience working as a full-time teaching professional or in a summer club setting.
