Cranbrook Schools is seeking a passionate, committed, and growth-minded Assistant Varsity Field Hockey Coach to support and help build a competitive and values-driven program within a premier independent school setting. The position is well-suited for former field hockey players who are ready to take the next step into coaching and contribute to a program with high expectations, strong support, and significant potential for growth. The ideal candidate will: Bring coaching experience in field hockey or demonstrate the ability to translate playing experience into effective teaching. Former field hockey playing experience (high school, club, or collegiate) strongly preferred. Demonstrate the ability to teach fundamentals, build relationships, and create a positive, accountable team culture. Be eager to learn, grow, and contribute within a collaborative coaching staff. Be committed to developing student-athletes of character, emphasizing effort, discipline, and a team-first mentality.
