DB USA Core Corporation seeks an Assistant Vice President in New York, NY to develop source code, including descriptions, for all software components in accordance with detailed software requirements specification and the functional and technical design documents. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, or related field, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience developing source code, including descriptions, for all software components; verifying developed source code during code reviews and design application; integrating software components to create unified single system; contributing to quality assurance by writing unit and functional tests; conducting problem-solving and root cause analysis; performing maintenance of applications and performing technical change requests; identifying dependencies between software product components, technical components, and between applications and interfaces; identifying product integration verifications performed based on the integration sequence and relevant dependencies; designing, developing and implementing applications, participating in regular interaction with business users and translating the business requirements to technical solution design documents; supporting and troubleshooting development and production issues across multiple environments; ensuring availability and performance of the application; implementing performance improvements using tuning and code review; developing and configuring software packages as per the technical specifications; coordinating and supporting release deployments, user acceptance testing and system testing and responsible for system integrity; and in executing duties, utilizing Core Java, EJB 3.0, JSTL, JDBC, JSP, Struts, Spring, JavaScript, Maven, IBM MQ, Oracle WebLogic, and Scrum Agile models.
