The Opportunity The position of Assistant Warehouse Supervisor Government Distribution is within our Toxicology Unit located in Portsmouth, Virginia at Instant Technologies. In this role, you will plan, organize, and monitor the printing, picking, and shipping of all point-of-care and lab supply orders for the Government Vertical. You will also manage daily sales order uploads and maintain payroll for lab supply employees. What You’ll Work On Plans and coordinates work, trains and motivates, monitors, and evaluates performance of Government employees. Responsible for monitoring daily reports. Open order report, Backorder report. Responsible for meeting all site goals as directed by the Site director. Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels across Government Lab and POCT verticals. Responsible for drafting work instructions and standard operating procedures in Ensur. Liaison between warehouse and sales to resolve any customer requests. Ensures their ability to safely operate material handling equipment and uphold health, safety and security in the workplace at all times. Responsible for training, coaching and providing feedback to employees. Oversees the printing, picking, packing, shipping, and quality checking processes. Responsible for working with management on NPIs or Chain of custody form revisions. Ensures warehouse cleanliness by maintaining and managing a cleaning schedule. Assist the site leader in helping to coordinate, organize, and manage special projects. Create, implement, monitor, and manages all work Instructions and procedures in the Warehouse Government Department.
