About The Position
This position will coach and serve as an assistant to the head coach and will include recruitment, camp operations, scouting, film breakdown, and positional coaching. This position will require the ability to work weekends & evenings, and to also travel.
Requirements
- According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- One to three (1-3) Years of High School or Collegiate Coaching Experience
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of computer applications for recruiting, video exchange, and breakdown
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work weekends & evenings, and also to travel
Responsibilities
- Coaching and serving as an assistant to the head coach
- Recruiting qualified student athletes
- Use of recruiting software

- Monitoring academic progress of student athletes
- Any other duties assigned by the Athletic Department
