About This Role: The Associate Director, Supply Chain Management – Team Leader, is entrusted with guiding the organization’s supply chain strategy and execution for global data center projects. This leadership role places a strong emphasis on executive communication and cross-functional team stewardship, ensuring clarity, transparency, and alignment across all levels of the business. The Associate Director cultivates a collaborative environment and acts as a key liaison between senior executives and cross-functional teams, championing initiatives in NPI, supplier development, material and capacity planning, and sourcing strategy to deliver operational excellence and business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations
  • 5+ years in senior leadership and team management roles supporting large-scale infrastructure or data center projects
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time (international as needed)

Responsibilities

  • Executive Communication: Serve as the principal supply chain spokesperson, delivering concise, actionable updates and insights to senior leadership. Translate complex supply chain challenges into strategic recommendations, fostering informed decision-making at the executive level.
  • Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams—including procurement, engineering, operations, finance, and IT—to achieve seamless project execution. Drive engagement, accountability, and innovation within a diverse, global workforce.
  • Strategic Leadership: Shape and articulate the supply chain vision, aligning team objectives with organizational priorities and motivating high performance across all functions.
  • New Product Introduction (NPI): Oversee the supply chain readiness for new data center products, guiding teams through each stage of transition from concept to implementation.
  • Supplier Development: Direct the evaluation and strategic development of suppliers to ensure quality, scalability, and resilience for data center initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional PMO: Facilitate cross-functional program management, setting clear expectations and resolving challenges while maintaining momentum toward project goals.
  • Material Planning: Lead efforts in forecasting, inventory optimization, and material flow to support timely data center construction and operations.
  • Capacity Planning: Develop strategies to ensure supplier and internal teams are equipped to meet global data center requirements.
  • Sourcing Strategy: Steer sourcing initiatives to optimize cost, quality, and supply chain resilience for expanding data center footprints.
  • Risk Management: Identify and proactively manage supply chain risks, communicating mitigation plans effectively to executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Team Development: Foster a culture of trust, coaching, and innovation, empowering supply chain professionals to excel and advance within the organization.
