About the position

H-E-B is one of the largest, independently owned food retailers in the nation, operating over 400 stores throughout Texas and Mexico, with annual sales generating over $31 billion. Our Targeted Marketing Team creates and optimizes direct-to-consumer marketing campaigns that help drive loyalty and sales. As an Associate Targeted Marketing Manager, you'll support multi-channeled, targeted marketing campaign projects via direct mail, email, coupons, SMS, and push. Once you're eligible, you'll become an Owner in the company, so we're looking for commitment, hard work, and focus on quality and Customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates / executes targeted marketing campaigns
  • Sets up / executes / tracks / spot-checks campaign plans and progress; scales events; sets up campaign elements that directly impact budget, forecasting, and closed-loop reporting
  • Enters / maintains campaign information (in-system)
  • Monitors campaigns in-flight; escalates or troubleshoots issues
  • Monitors / processes invoices
  • Serves as a quality assurance resource for customer's end-to-end experience of targeted marketing campaign
  • Manages / delivers offer information to the coupon management team
  • Maintains partnerships with internal / external resources through project plans, milestone updates, campaign reporting, and campaign summaries
  • Drafts campaign updates, presentations, and internal communication documents; supports internal communications and spreadsheets
  • Communicates program, project, and / or campaign through various reports and tools, as required
  • Manages vendor communications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or comparable experience
  • 1+ years of experience in project management, customer reporting, retail operations, and / or traditional and digital marketing channels

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (CRM), Tableau, and Power BI (preferred)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between projects / tasks
