About The Position

We are seeking a strategic and revenue-focused Associate Account Executive, Programmatic Sales, to accelerate the growth of our programmatic business. Reporting to the Executive Director, Programmatic Sales, this role will drive expansion across Private Marketplace (PMP) and Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) deals, deepen relationships with agency trading desks, and unlock scalable revenue opportunities. This is a high-impact growth role for a proactive seller who thrives on building a pipeline, developing agency relationships, and partnering closely with Brand Partnerships leaders to close competitive deals and drive programmatic revenue.

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of experience in digital media sales, programmatic account management, or working directly within agency programmatic teams.
  • Deep understanding of PMP, PG, and open exchange dynamics, including audience segmentation and deal troubleshooting.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets through consultative, insight-led selling.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into compelling client narratives.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate effectively across internal departments.
  • Team player who collaborates closely with the brand partnerships team to drive integrated programmatic sales strategies and maximize revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue Generation: Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual programmatic revenue targets through the sale of PMP and Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) deals.
  • Agency Relationship Management: Own and scale senior-level relationships across major agency trading desks and holding company investment teams (e.g., WPP, OMG, IPG, and Publicis).
  • Strategic Prospecting: Actively identify and re-engage lapsed programmatic buyers while aggressively prospecting net-new agency opportunities to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Ecosystem Partnership: Collaborate with SSPs (e.g., Magnite) and DSPs (e.g., The Trade Desk, DV360) to develop co-sell strategies and ensure seamless deal execution.
  • Full-Cycle Sales Execution: Lead the end-to-end sales process, from crafting tailored, needs-based proposals and RFP responses to delivering high-level post-campaign performance narratives.
  • Cross-Functional Strategy: Partner with Yield, Ad Ops, and Sales Leadership to refine pricing models, PMP packaging, and inventory strategies based on real-time market demand.
  • Market Intelligence: Serve as a trusted advisor by surfacing marketplace feedback to internal teams to inform product evolution and ensuring clients are briefed on the latest programmatic trends.
