About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Associate Accountant to join our finance team in North Canton, OH. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, support month-end close processes, and help maintain accurate financial records to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with QuickBooks or similar systems is a plus).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Basic understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and maintaining financial statements, reports, and records.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Help prepare journal entries and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting files and documentation.
Support internal and external audit processes as needed.
Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the senior accounting staff or management.
