JOB DESCRIPTION: POSITION SUMMARY Provides guidance and support on organizational legal issues, primarily pertaining to contracts/transactions. May be responsible for resolving disputes relating to contracts.

Requirements

• Oral and written communication skills.
• Research skills.
• Judgement.
• JD required.
• 0 to 2 years of experience.
• Must be licensed in one of our operating states. (TN, IN, IL, MO, KS, GA, FL )

Responsibilities

• Writes, reviews, and advises on legal contracts and agreements.
• Represents the organization in legal matters.
• Researches and analyzes laws and regulations for clients.
• Gathers evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions.
• Negotiating and drafting customer and vendor agreements.
• Coordinating with internal and external experts, including external counsel.
• Acting as an advisor to the leadership team.
• Establishing scalable contracting processes and templates.
• Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
