About The Position

Heyl Royster is seeking highly motivated attorneys with 1-5 years of litigation experience to join our established toxic tort defense team. The ideal candidate will have experience with drafting critical motions, developing written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and participating in court proceedings. The position provides opportunity to work on complex, multi‑party litigation and immediate opportunity for meaningful litigation experience. Candidates should possess the ability to work productively in team settings. This position will be based at our Edwardsville office. Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school required.
  • Active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license, in good standing.
  • 1-5 years' experience in insurance/personal injury defense, and/or toxic tort defense.
