About The Position

We are looking for an intelligent, innovative, and creative Marketer with a passion for brands. The ideal candidate will drive the business forward with out-of-the-box ideas, strong leadership of a cross-functional team, and by challenging the status quo to get things done more efficiently. This position will require an in-depth understanding of brand development, which includes market trends, consumer insight, and category dynamics. This role will require both strategic thinking and executional excellence to continue growing our Licensed portfolio. Licensing is a critical strategic growth pillar for The Magnum Ice Cream Company, making this a highly visible role with the imperative to deliver significant business impact!

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree required, MBA a plus with 2-3 years’ experience
  • CPG innovation workstreams
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Understanding of digital and e-commerce
  • Clear demonstration of successful, consistent delivery to the business
  • Clear demonstration of project management & leadership skills
  • Experience working with agencies and media partners
  • Experience working with different customer channels
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and to provide innovative approaches in a team-based structure
  • Ability to deliver both verbal and written communication in a simple, compelling manner.

Responsibilities

  • Lead category trend work and consumer research by partnering with consumer insights team to conduct research on innovation and product concepts.
  • Supporting the development of Brand’s Innovation Pipeline.
  • Work with a cross-functional team to ensure product mix is launched on time and in full, in line with key customer timing.
  • Partner with R&D and Supply Chain to manage product and packaging transitions, improvements, and updates.
  • Partner closely with the Operations marketing team to ensure flawless execution in market.
  • Manage relationships with licensing partners (give and receive business updates, partner with them to create Joint Business Plans)
  • Partner closely with Procurement and Supply Chain to manage capacity, identify contract manufacturers and pursue import opportunities where relevant.
  • Develop owned and paid channel advertising assets and ensure OTIF delivery of all materials for ecommerce pages.
  • Generate ideas for new licensing partners and support partner outreach to bring new consumers and introduce new occasions for The Magnum Ice Cream Company
  • Run and conduct market analysis to understand market trends and opportunities
  • Feedback from quality and consumer engagement teams
  • Lead IPT Brief, feedback, and produce Hershey’s engagement assets
  • CIP budget management
