What this job involves - This position requires a desire for success, strong work ethic, aspirations for career development in commercial real estate, and the aptitude to handle complex transactions. This is a team-based role, which will require interaction with owners, C-Suite executives, and high level corporate real estate decision makers. This position will report to Senior Team Leaders and the individual will be involved in all aspects of the evaluation, negotiation, and strategy development. A successful candidate must be articulate; detail-oriented and can directly interface with key client representatives. Attend JLL University (“JLLU”) which is a 13-week training, development, and networking program specifically for our new Associate Brokers. Support the senior brokers in initiating business development activities and taking initiative to outreach to new leads (cold calls, warm calls, emails, etc.) Work with senior brokers on new business proposals, prepare available property summary books and create new business presentations. Work with senior brokers to develop materials for clients (e.g., lease comparisons, market overviews, prospect, or client presentations). Shadow senior brokers in transaction negotiation, evaluation, and documentation. Provide clients with industry and market specific information as it relates to their business and maintain contact information on prospects. Contribute to designated local market research requests: market snapshots, market overviews, quarterly market decks, topic specific research to support pitches and brokerage opportunities. Review and understand financial models, cash flow projections, and valuation models. Operations: Manage team meetings and oversee master project tracking system (track and update sheet with Works in Progress, new business pursuits, team initiatives) Organize and maintain document repository and coordinate deliverables (presentations / pitch decks; marketing materials like Offering Memos; transaction documents like NDAs, LOIs, RFPs; research reports; data center provider availability tracker) Compile and maintain contact lists (for new business outreach, marketing emails, etc), and assist in outreach to the contacts Assist in preparing and organizing surveys of real estate options for clients Marketing: Assist in creating and modifying external-facing marketing materials and property summary briefings Coordinate deliverables with various internal regional and national JLL teams (marketing, GIS, design) Research / Analysis: Compile comparable real estate transactions (terms for pending / closed sale and leases) and recent events (AI / energy / data center / legislative news) Assist in creating quarterly research reports Coordinate with JLL Research for ad hoc thought leadership materials

Requirements

  • A minimum of 0 – 4 (+) years of commercial real estate or business-to-business sales experience
  • Demonstrable success in business development and sales production
  • Ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables
  • Have working knowledge or ability to learn: Canva Adobe InDesign Microsoft suite products Eloqua AI tools Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for data center site analysis, market mapping, power grid proximity analysis, fiber infrastructure mapping, and competitive landscape visualization

Nice To Haves

  • State Real Estate License (must have within 90 days of hire)
  • Preferred previous experience in corporate real estate, consulting, or finance; understanding of real estate fundamentals is a plus
  • Prefer a bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field
  • Project management capabilities including multi-tasking, prioritization, deadline management, and the ability to work both independently and with a team
  • Willingness to take on new challenges, responsibilities, assignments and to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment
