Responsibilities include providing advanced analytics, shopper and consumer insights, and category recommendations to Target . Candidates must have excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to identify and present recommendations and develop effective and accurate reporting tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of experience working with Target in Category Management, Shopper Insights, or Sales Analytics

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Target Diabetic Category Captainship; cultivate business relationship with Target key contacts and maintain best-in-class Category Analytics and Insights.
  • Provide support to Team Leader and Category Development Manager on Target Infant Formula Category Captainship.
  • Identify key business opportunities at a macro and micro level, while providing category management expertise to assist in achieving customer-specific goals.
  • Deliver strategic and tactical initiatives aligned with Target business goals and objectives, driving market share and category growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key Target stakeholders as the primary contact.
  • Lead end to end Target POG build process; develop strategic recommendations, using merchandising principles that are aligned with strategic direction and retailer insights.
  • Work seamlessly with onsite and offsite teammates to deliver category and shopper trends.
  • Penetrate Target at various levels to build relationships and influence decision making.
  • Build Abbott equity and influence retailer as a category knowledge resource.
  • Plan and execute activities to develop, present and implement category management initiatives.
  • Provide relevant category and shopper insights to drive assortment, distribution, category placement and aisle recommendations.
  • Utilize market research and customer insights to drive strategic initiatives with Target.
  • Perform comprehensive category reviews, using Target-preferred metrics and industry analysis.
  • Maintain and improve category reporting and efficiencies to drive business understanding and insights analysis.
  • Lead training for new analytical tools and resources.
  • Maintain proficiency in the use of Abbott computer systems, Blue Yonder Space Planning, Nielsen IQ, Circana syndicated data, Numerator, and Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams, OneDrive).
  • Maintain proficiency in Target’s systems, including POL, VIQ, CKS, and DOMO.
