Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of sales, logistics, or supply chain related experience.
  • Pattern of initiative.
  • Proven problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment on a variety of complex projects.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, organizational skills and analytical skills.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to present to and negotiate with the customer.
  • Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing disparate sources of data.

Responsibilities

  • The Associate CPFR Analyst works to ensure our customers’ supply chain expectations are met at the lowest possible cost.
  • Provides after-hours coverage during weekdays and weekends as part of a rotating team schedule.
  • Supply Chain Development Data Insights – pulls together data from disparate sources including Mainframe, Retail Link, Luminate, MADRID, Transportation, Claims, Trade, Orders, Invoices, customer supply chain and High Radius to provide insights which support good business decisions related to the Walmart and Sam’s Club supply chain. These insights include support of preferred vendor negotiations, rebalancing of customer supply chain networks, truck weight analysis, and other analysis of customer shipment and scan data.
  • Retail Sales Customer Supply Chain Issue Management– serves as the point person for the Walmart and Sam’s Club team to resolve customer service issues and identify/pursue customer savings opportunities.
  • Demand Planning Input/Inventory Optimization - with areas of major forecasting needs, the CPFR Analyst will work with the sales team to ensure we have their projections for Demand Planning and Category Sales (i.e. Pepperoni Pallets).
  • Customer Supply Chain Relationship Management – this position will be responsible for developing, building, monitoring and reporting on Customer Supply Chain scorecard results for Walmart and Sam’s Club. The incumbent may support front line sales at Top 2 Top meetings/Joint Business Plans or other high-level customer appointments with supply chain insights and recommendations as prioritized by the sales team.
