As the Associate Data Analyst, Digital Engagement, you will join the Broad-Based Campaigns team in a role designed for an early-career professional (0–3 years of experience) ready to apply and grow their technical expertise. In this position, you’ll leverage SQL, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and campaign analytics to directly support digital fundraising and engagement strategies that drive meaningful impact. Requirements

  • 0-3 years of relevant business analysis, data or related experience. New graduates with less than 1 year experience are welcome to apply.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SQL databases and writing queries preferred.
  • Exposure to Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support data requirements associated with central broad-based campaigns as well as other university departments and unit campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
  • Write and maintain SQL queries to support targeted solicitation and stewardship efforts, following inclusion/exclusion logic and alignment with campaign goals.
  • Collaborate with the Broad-Based Campaigns and Digital Engagement team to support marketing data and campaign execution.
  • Perform routine data management tasks, including basic data modeling, conversion, de-duplication, migration assistance, and identification of data quality issues.
  • Assist in building and maintaining data workflows, including reconciliation processes, validation checks, match/merge support, and batch upload processes under guidance.
  • Support campaign segmentation and query development to ensure timely execution of solicitation and stewardship efforts
  • Contribute to team and organizational success by producing high-quality work, collaborating effectively, and supporting process improvement initiatives.
  • Create and modify SQL queries and store procedures for data extraction and reporting.
  • Support the maintenance of the data production calendar to ensure timely completion of assignments.
  • Coordinate with team leadership to meet data deadlines for electronic and printed fundraising appeals/materials.
  • Assist in troubleshooting data-related issues and escalate complex problems as appropriate.
  • Learn and apply established data best practices and security standards.
  • Maintain and update components of Marketing Cloud data model under supervision.
  • Fulfill data segmentation requests for partners to use in their email campaigns.
  • Translate plain-language requests into SQL queries with guidance and support on-time delivery of requests.
  • Support API-based integration with Salesforce as directed.
  • Assist monitoring/tracking overall performance of campaigns and generating performance reports.
  • Contribute to basic forecasting and reporting efforts.
  • Support development and maintenance of statistical and performance reporting dashboards.
  • Track assigned tasks withing the data production calendar.
  • Ensure deadlines for assigned work are met.
  • Assist with data proofing and validation to ensure accuracy.
  • Participate in team problem-solving discussions and process improvements
