Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine Purpose: You will be responsible for the development and execution of a Master Data Management capability for Health Care Organization & Professionals. This role ensures the integrity, consistency and usability of master data and associated data products across several functions such as Data Sciences, Global Development, Clinical Supply Chain and Global Clinical Operations. With your advanced knowledge and skills, you will establish a robust data governance practice and a data quality control system that supports enterprise level operational efficiency and excellence.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, Supply Chain, Data Management or related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in master data management
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical operations data management
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data governance practice
  • Strong experience in data profiling and standardization
  • Demonstrated experience in reporting, KPIs and deployment of BI solutions
  • Proven ability in leading and inspiring a team in a challenging and demanding environment
  • Proven leadership skills in influencing cross-functional decision making

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders from R&D, Data Science and IT to develop a best-in-class Master Data Management (MDM) capability for Health Care Organizations and Professionals.
  • Establish a Data Governance practice for the MDM capability to thrive in.
  • Create and maintain data dictionaries, seek and find alignment across stakeholders on data attributes, definitions, usage and access rules.
  • Implement a Data Quality system for MDM.
  • Lead initiatives and implement processes with the specific goal of achieving and maintaining high quality data.
  • Develop and deploy dashboards to inform on KPIs and processes.
  • Develop and maintain Data Stewardship practice.
  • Mentor data stewards in adherence to business rules and service level agreements.
  • Drive a culture of delivering high quality data products with a sense of urgency.
  • Promote transparency across stakeholders through clear communication on all MDM and related activities.
  • Articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborators.
  • Build and maintain cross-functional relationships and build credibility around MDM capability through operational excellence.
  • Maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Monitor industry developments for cutting edge technologies in MDM and related fields and maintain the J&J MDM capabilities at the forefront.
