The primary role of the Associate Director, Global FP&A Business Partnering is to provide extensive business partnering and financial support to the Global Support Departments, with a primary focus on the R&D organization. Additionally, this role will be key to providing guidance and financial analyses to support the Strategic Resource Allocation Committee (SRAC) responsible for making global resource allocation choices and prioritization. Making the right resource allocation choices and prioritization decisions, including R&D investments, are critical to our future success and growth. This individual will provide valuable financial modeling, conduct financial metric analysis, monitor financial performance, support re-prioritization activities and provide meaningful insight to the leadership team responsible for the critical resource allocation decisions. This individual will also oversee financial planning, forecasting, management reporting and decision support for the R&D leadership team in line with the resource allocation choices made. This role requires significant partnering with multiple functions, including, but not limited to legal, commercial, business development and other areas of finance to effectively support accurate financial forecasting, meaningful performance updates, and business improvement / insights. As a member of the Global FP&A team, this role will also support other FP&A activities from time to time. Some potential examples are, assisting in the implementation, alignment, and adoption of relevant financial systems to ensure data integrity and efficiencies, and other ad hoc requests. Comfort in a fast paced, dynamic business environment, excellent communication and analytic skills, and comfort with data are key to success in this role.
