About The Position

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Associate Director, Market Access Insights & Analytics to join our organization! In this role, a typical day might include: Reporting to the Director of Market Access Insights & Analytics, you will lead several of our new products’ Access Services Reimbursement Journey leveraging Patient Support Services (HUB) and Trade data for upcoming product launches. You’ll own the analytical transformation of complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that improve patient access, adherence, and overall program performance. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role suited for a builder and problem solver who thrives on collaboration. You will design analytics-ready data assets that capture patient access milestones, rapidly surface and triage barriers, and inform strategy and field reimbursement tactics. Grounded in rigorous analysis and domain expertise, your work will enable confident, data-driven decisions and elevate the patient experience across launch brands. This role might be for you if you can/have: The Associate Director, Market Access Data & Analytics will collaborate on the design, curation and evaluation of patient HUB data, informing business decisions, and designing and implementing analytical solutions to address access barriers. This will include study of dimensions such as payer, HCP, site and account-level analytics using descriptive and predictive analytical approaches. This role will be primarily responsible critical assessing the patients’ access journeys for opportunities and challenges:

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical/biotech commercial experience (or 7+ years for MBA/MS), in roles of increasing accountability; prior experience with market-leading brands is desired
  • BS/BA in STEM related field, e.g., Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Marketing Research, etc.; Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience working with Patient HUB datasets, including enrollment, benefit verifications, copay, PAP, and payer data at within patient level data adeptly and compliantly is preferred
  • Experience coding in SQL, Python/PySpark, R and/or SAS (BASE, STAT, SQL, Macros).
  • Experience in data visualization and reporting working with commercial business intelligence tools required (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView, Oracle BI, Microstrategy, Cognos, Spotfire or similar tools).
  • Expertise in data visualization and data storytelling of key findings.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, and PowerPoint required
  • Experience in data mining, descriptive analytics, application of statistical methods, analyses and modeling, predictive modeling, opportunity assessment and quantification
  • Proven track record of managing multiple external vendors and project teams concurrently against stringent deadlines in a fast-paced, timeline-driven atmosphere.
  • Communication and influencing skills with demonstrated ability to succinctly and effectively present compelling reviews of analyses that integrate analytics and patient journey implications/actions to be taken.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking ability
  • Concise and impactful written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience in influencing and driving decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize the patients’ reimbursement journey by mapping the end‑to‑end experience, identifying barriers, and collaborating with payers, providers, and advocacy groups to improve affordability and access.
  • Enhance organizational data literacy by providing clear training, guidance, and support so teams can confidently use dashboards, metrics, and analytics to drive decisions.
  • Lead analytics solutions and dashboards that illuminate patient access performance, specialty pharmacy operations, and support program effectiveness, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
  • Cultivate strong, productive relationships with cross‑functional stakeholders across IT, PSS, CBU, and CSI&A—balancing project rigor, timelines, and influence to drive aligned outcomes.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner by clarifying business questions, analyzing data, and translating findings into concise, compelling recommendations for leadership.
  • Collaborate with CBU and CSI&A colleagues to stay informed on market dynamics, and incorporate competitive insights into planning.
  • Manage analytics partners and suppliers, guiding workstreams from scope through execution to ensure analytic rigor and meaningful business implications.
  • Proactively identify new analytics opportunities to inform critical brand decision points and uncover insights that address key challenges and growth opportunities.
  • Advance measurement frameworks that evaluate program effectiveness, efficiency, and patient access reliability—informing continuous improvement across the ecosystem.
  • Deliver actionable, data‑driven insights to Field Reimbursement Teams, Patient Support Services, and Trade Distribution to improve patient outcomes and operational performance.
  • Lead performance reporting tied to strategic imperatives and priority business questions, ensuring clarity and alignment across stakeholders.
  • Analyze Patient Support Programs for strengths, gaps, and optimization opportunities; track the impact of implemented enhancements.
  • Synthesize diverse datasets into differentiating insights that uncover business opportunities and portfolio‑level strategies.
