About The Position

The Associate Director of Community Day Services is responsible for overseeing all Community Day Services (CDS) operations within Network 6, ensuring high-quality, person-centered programming, fiscal accountability, regulatory compliance, and strong staff leadership. This position provides direct supervision to Program Coordinators, supports clinical and case management oversight, ensures Medicaid billing accuracy, and promotes growth, advocacy, and community engagement across all CDS locations. The Associate Director works closely with the Network Director to advance strategic goals, maintain program integrity, and ensure services align with evidence-based practices and the PERMAH framework.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Services or related field
  • Prior Supervisory experience required
  • Ability to become certified with IMCANS and oversee Medicaid billing

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all Community Day Services (CDS) programming and operations within Network 6.
  • Submit timely and accurate billing through the EHR for services.
  • Monitor program budgets and daily attendance; produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Assist the Community QIDP and provide oversight of case management documentation.
  • Provide direct supervision and oversight to Program Coordinators within CDS.
  • Conduct onsite visits (minimum weekly) to each CDS location.
  • Lead monthly coordinator meetings to review programming, performance metrics, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure curriculum is robust, evidence-based, and aligned with the PERMAH model; review and approve monthly program calendars.
  • Ensure a variety of meaningful community-based experiences are occurring at all locations.
  • Oversee the physical plant, maintenance, and janitorial services to ensure timely follow-up and repairs.
  • Interview prospective employees; onboard, train, mentor, discipline, coach, and recognize staff.
  • Ensure all staff remain up to date with required trainings including quarterly in-services, Rule 50, Food Safety and Sanitation, Bloodborne Pathogen, LMS, Quest, and clinical trainings.
  • Conduct community outreach efforts to attract new people interested in services, including tours, intake tracking, and participation in evening or weekend events as needed.
  • Assist with CDS compliance, growth, expansion initiatives, and quality service delivery.
  • Generate monthly objectives, reports, and ensure fiscal year and strategic portfolio goals are met.
  • Assist with completion and oversight of CIRAS, OIG, incident reports, daily attendance records, and daily reporting to ensure timelines are met.
  • Support healthy relationships training and ensure program compliance with requirements.
  • Supervise students and support development of cohorts working toward Medicaid billing competencies.
  • Familiarity and engagement related to CQL Certified Interviewer responsibilities.
  • Champion advocacy club initiatives and promote rights throughout CDS locations and the organization.
  • Serve on internal and external committees.
  • Give internal and external presentations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
