About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Design & Strategy Leader to join our company. This role is pivotal in owning the design, specification, and implementation of Emerson DeltaV distributed control systems (DCS) for very large, complex capital projects involving advanced processing. Lead with Innovation: Your Responsibilities You'll serve as the Design & Strategy Technical Lead for the Process Control team and Digital Shop Floor product line across multiple capital projects. Define high-level control strategies and architectures, overseeing the development of key specifications and deliverables. Lead and manage a team of product representatives on capital projects, ensuring effective coordination and delivery. You'll establish OKRs, metrics, and KPIs, facilitating strategy sessions to drive continuous improvement. Drive standards and continuous improvement while staying ahead of technology trends. Develop reusable patterns and libraries to ensure quality, technology integration, and modular designs. Communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences, including senior executives. Provide balanced options and decision frameworks, challenging the status quo to enable transformations. Your Skills for Success: Qualifications Required You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.9–12+ years of experience in designing and delivering large-scale distribution control system projects. At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role. Demonstrated experience in change management, combined with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems to develop innovative solutions. Proven track record in project execution and leadership across contractors and vendors, effectively meeting cost and schedule targets. Excellent communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to influence without formal authority. Strong mentorship and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects. Preferred Experience in data enablement, advanced analytics, edge capabilities, and modern data architectures that streamline shop-floor to enterprise data flow and scalable OT/IT integration. Familiarity with Agile Sprints and other Agile methodologies.

Requirements
