About The Position

True Classic is hiring an Associate Director of Warehousing to lead the modernization and execution of our global warehousing network, accountable for improving speed, accuracy, service levels, and cost efficiency while supporting our continued omnichannel growth. We are seeking a highly operational, systems-minded leader who is both strategic and deeply hands-on — someone who can translate network strategy into repeatable execution while staying close to day-to-day 3PL performance. This leader will own global warehouse operations and enablement, lead a small leadership team, and run a disciplined operating cadence with our 3PL partners as we scale internationally and continue evolving as a high-growth omnichannel business. All of True Classic's roles are global and omni-channel, leading designated areas of accountability across all product categories, countries, and different sales & marketing channels. This means you will have the opportunity to impact our operations worldwide, ensuring a cohesive strategy that aligns with our overall business objectives and drives success across various markets and platforms

Requirements

  • 8+ years in fulfillment/warehouse operations with progressive responsibility including direct 3PL oversight across multiple channels (DTC, Wholesale, Amazon).
  • Proven P&L / cost-management comfort and vendor negotiation experience.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP and with WMS/3PL integrations.
  • Track record running daily/weekly operational cadence and leading QBRs.
  • Experience managing small leadership teams and offshore execution resources.
  • Strong data literacy — able to own KPI definitions, read performance dashboards, and lead data-driven problem solving.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience operating with ShipBob, Stord or similar modern 3PLs.
  • OMS experience (Pipe17, Fluent, or equivalent), iPaaS understanding, or prior ownership of order-routing.
  • Experience with RFID/GS1 pilots and warehouse automation projects.
  • Apparel or consumer goods background with retail compliance experience (Target/Costco/Walmart) and kitting/display logistics.

Responsibilities

  • 3PL & warehouse partner management (Global)
  • Day-to-day ownership and escalation for all 3PL partners
  • Own partner scorecards, SLA monitoring, contractual performance, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
  • Drive capacity, cost control, pick/pack accuracy, and continuous improvement with partners — hold partners to agreed SLAs and escalate decisively when performance slips.
  • Manage inbound strategy to the hero site and the secondary node model; ensure inbound discipline (all PO inbound to hero site as required by node strategy).
  • Warehousing operations execution (Omnichannel)
  • End-to-end fulfillment ownership across DTC, Amazon/FBA, Wholesale, and Roadshows.
  • Drive operational outcomes: click-to-ship time, OTIF, outbound defect rate, inventory accuracy, fulfillment cost per unit, and FBA replenishment reliability.
  • Ensure SOP adherence and consistent operating discipline across nodes and channels; run daily/weekly cadence to eliminate variability.
  • Own kitting, labeling, and packaging readiness for retail/roadshow programs.
  • Team leadership & accountability
  • Directly manage: Warehousing / Fulfillment Operations Manager, channel operations owners (Wholesale, DTC/Amazon, Roadshows), and offshore analysts.
  • Set clear ownership, KPIs, escalation rules, and development plans; be the ultimate point of operational judgment.
  • Build a compact, high-leverage org that multiplies impact through systems, SOPs, and cross-training.
  • Systems, tech & enablement (hands-on)
  • Deep, working ownership of NetSuite ERP flows as they relate to inventory, inbound/outbound transactions, and integrations.
  • Own how NetSuite integrates with 3PL WMS, the OMS/routing logic, and fulfillment workflows. Champion business-owned order routing and work with Ops Tech to implement OMS/ iPaaS
  • Drive warehouse tech projects: custom SLAs by channel, automated work orders via API, FBA automation, and RFID/GS1 pilots to materially improve accuracy and scale.
  • Network & node execution (operation-focused)
  • Execute node strategy: sustain hero site performance (Fontana / single inbound) and operationalize any secondary nodes for high-velocity SKU placement and replenishment.
  • Translate strategy into repeatable inventory placement, routing, and replenishment rules that minimize split-shipments and optimize cost/service tradeoffs.
  • Inventory & returns oversight
  • Own physical inventory accuracy programs, cycle counts, shrink management, and transfer order discipline.
  • Define and enforce disposition workflows for damaged/unsellable inventory.
  • Drive continuous improvement in returns processing speed, accuracy, and cost.
