About The Position

As an Associate in our Atlanta Distribution Center, you'll be responsible for processing and putting away merchandise, picking and packing merchandise for the stores, conducting Store-to-Store transfers, and helping with cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. You will be helping fuel the entire enterprise by making sure merchandise is handled efficiently and with attention to detail with an emphasis on operational rigor and inventory excellence. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.

Requirements

• Ability to consistently lift packages of 30 pounds or more and work on your feet most of the time
• At least six months working in a retail or warehouse shipping environment with elevated service levels
• Ability to work with computers, handheld devices and infrared scanners
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with broad role definition
• A proactive mindset that brings new ideas and solutions to the team
• A desire to always drive towards continual improvement
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to quickly build cross functional relationships, collaboration and influence others
• Highly organized and proficient in following process across multiple steps and stakeholders
• Motivated, resourceful problem solver and team player with a "no task is too small" attitude

Responsibilities

• Process merchandise in a timely and accurate manner
• Put merchandise away for storage according to warehouse standards
• Facilitate transfers between channels as requested, including picking product for web orders
• Pick merchandise for stores efficiently and accurately
• Pack merchandise for stores to ensure merchandise integrity
• Put away merchandise from returns from customers or other departments within the enterprise
• Provide excellent customer service to all departments throughout the enterprise
