About The Position

This is an entry level position geared toward assisting & supporting energy efficiency project management services to customers for electric and natural gas energy. Provides assistance & support to internal and external subject matter experts. The technical assistance & support efforts are designed to reduce the overall natural gas & electricity consumption by replacing or substituting end use devices or systems with technically more advanced equipment without affecting service to the customer. Recommendations include adoption of high-efficiency equipment including lighting, heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems or control modifications, efficient building design, advanced electric motor drives, heat recovery systems, manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in technical marketing, sales, project management or energy efficiency.
• Minimal experience and/or aptitude in customer service.
• Requires ability to assist with and learning about energy efficiency and renewable technologies for customers.
• Requires basic, fundamental understanding of financial principals and the ability to use PC desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel).
• Assists by gathering and organizing relevant information & data.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering in a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Zero (0) to three (3) years of experience.
• Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
• Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provides project assistance services and support to the customers and assists with services specific to the procurement and installation of energy efficient equipment and systems.
• Responsibilities include review prescriptive applications for pertinent supporting documentation, researching customer energy efficiency and participation data, preparing and maintaining analysis spreadsheets, reading blueprints and project documentation for applicable energy efficiency measures, researching energy efficiency technologies, and both onsite and offsite project management oversight.
• Assists in Coordinating the implementation of the portfolio of Energy Efficiency programs and related initiatives.
• Assists on the integration of general daily transactional activities between the customer, program administrators, advisory consultants and vendor/contractors.
• Assists in invoicing and tracking of expenses and energy savings; assists with the preparation of RFP's for contracted services.
