Associate, Experienced, or Lead Level Mechanical Systems Design and Analysis Engineer Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Aircraft Environmental Control Systems (ECS) Analysis Engineer to join our team in Long Beach, CA. We are seeking team members with knowledge of Boeing design, certification, and engineering principles to make an immediate impact on our rapidly growing airplane development, modifications, customer service, and safety programs. As part of the ECS group you will be working on components that directly impact the safety of airline passengers. You'll be an integral part of supporting the modification of all in-service Boeing Commercial Airplane models to meet our customers' needs. Position Responsibilities Supports development and documentation of Environmental Control System analysis and architecture (air conditioning, air distribution, cabin pressure control, equipment cooling, cargo fire protection, nitrogen generating system, ice/rain protection, etc.) Assesses complex system events to determine potential safety issues, utilizing airplane function integration at the system and component level Contributes to development of hardware, software, and system performance requirements, as well as supplier qualification of these components and systems Assists in component and system laboratory/airplane testing to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements Works directly with airline customers and airplane component suppliers to ensure effective system integration and customer satisfaction This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Long Beach, CA. This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
