Reporting to and partnering with the Optum Operating Expense Finance Director, the Associate Director will play a key role as a financial advisor and business partner supporting financial administration, budgeting, planning, forecasting, analysis, modeling, productivity tracking, and decision support. The role will support both senior operating and finance leadership, assisting with evaluation of financial plans and performance. Strategy As a key business partner to the Optum Operating Expense & Capital Management leadership team, this role will support financial planning associated with Optum’s Operating Expense and assist in assessing organizational performance against those plans Develop and maintain tools and processes to provide critical financial and operational information to leadership and support actionable recommendations on strategy and operations Support strategic recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and projections You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
