About The Position

We are hiring for a Finance Associate to support our Finance Business Partnerships team at Chime. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring budgeting and forecasting accuracy while driving forward high-impact strategic and financial initiatives. You’ll partner closely with business leaders and finance team members to provide insights, influence decision-making, and help shape Chime’s financial strategy. On this highly cross-functional team, you will collaborate with partners across the organization to ensure alignment and accountability. You will support the bottoms-up planning and budgeting process, develop financial models to deliver key reporting & insights, and proactively identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to drive efficiency. We are looking for an analytical problem-solver who can break down complex problems into actionable components without losing sight of the overall strategy. The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $101,000.00 and up to $140,000.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of Finance/FP&A, investment banking, consulting experience, or Big 4 accounting/advisory
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other relevant field
  • Experience building financial models for budgeting and forecasting with strong attention to detail
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive work to completion
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive conversations across all levels
  • Demonstrated experience identifying, designing, or deploying AI-driven solutions within finance
  • Advanced Excel and G-Suite skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with tools like Pigment, NetSuite, Looker, Workday, Snowflake, or Python is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop, deliver, and maintain insightful reporting that provides leadership clear visibility into operating performance
  • Own and optimize forecasting processes to drive accuracy through advanced financial modeling
  • Partner cross-functionally with G&A leaders (HR, Finance, Legal, and more) to support bottoms-up planning, headcount management, and strategic initiatives
  • Translate investments (e.g., people programs, workplace planning, legal matters, vendor contracts) into clear financial impacts and tradeoffs, helping leaders prioritize across service levels, cost efficiency, and long‑term scalability
  • Leverage AI and automation to streamline financial processes, build efficiencies, and enhance reporting and forecasting capabilities
