The opportunity We currently have an opportunity for an Associate Financial Analyst to join our Specialty Management team in our Morristown, NJ office. This job is responsible for preparing monthly journal entries and account reconciliations for the Financial Planning & Analysis group. Assist in the preparation standard monthly underwriting result package. In addition, this job will assist in the annual operating plan and interim underwriting forecast processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, path to achieve financial certification desirable.
- 0-3 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepares standard monthly journal entries
- Prepares monthly account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly other underwriting expense variance analysis versus prior year and plan
- Assist in the maintenance of standard budget input templates
- Assist in building modeling tools that support the annual planning and interim forecasting processes.
- Perform testing of planning model changes
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
