About The Position

Robertson, Anschutz, Schneid, Crane & Partners, PLLC is national law firm that provides full-service creditors’ rights and real estate legal services at both the state and federal level in 18 states. RAS is seeking an Associate Foreclosure Attorney. The Associate Foreclosure Attorney role provides the opportunity to learn about and familiarize yourself with our various practice areas, as well as demonstrate an ability to meet performance expectations. Requirements

Intermediate to advanced-level computer proficiency (including Microsoft Office products) and general office skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively communicate through both verbal and written electronic correspondence
Demonstrate an excellent ability to analyze corrective action opportunities and present recommendations
Meticulous analytical skills and attention to detail
Exceptional organizational skills
Ability to work independently
Admission to the Illinois State Bar is required

Previous experience with electronic case management and client systems preferred

Responsibilities

Represent clients in all stages of the foreclosure process, including contested foreclosures
Comprehensive review of all conditions precedent to filing of the action, including review of loan documents, financials, and demand letters
Draft and review legal documents, pleadings and correspondence to initiate and maintain foreclosure actions
Research and analysis of applicable statutes, case law, regulatory, and servicing requirements
Legal research and writing
Attend court hearings and communicate with opposing counsel
Ensure all internal client systems are reviewed and updated to include findings, documentation, and recommendations
Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
Prioritize and perform a high volume of work to meet firm, client, investor, and court deadlines
Utilize firm and client systems to ensure all applicable deadlines are met
Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements, as applicable
