About The Position

As the Associate, Fulfillment (East Coast) you will play a critical role in ensuring our order fulfillment strategy is flexible, right-sized for our growth plans, and provides best-in-class execution and service levels for our valued customers. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a readiness to learn and build systems to accelerate Chomps towards our rapid growth objectives. This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious individual with a background in customer supply chain management and/or third-party logistics (3PL) relationship and performance management, capable of both individual contribution and leadership in an entrepreneurial environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in 3PL fulfillment management and/or distribution management
  • Located in the Atlanta, GA area with willingness to travel to partner site at least 20% of the time and to other locations across the country
  • Retail/Wholesale fulfillment experience required
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel
  • Experienced ERP user (SAP, NetSuite, MS Dynamics)
  • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, multitask, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges in a fast-paced environment; you like building game changing systems
  • Have an entrepreneurial mentality with a 'self-starter' approach
  • An adept problem solver who seeks creative solutions, with a consistent attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end fulfillment operations for wholesale customer orders in the Southeast region.
  • Knowledge of EDI transactions and manual order flow to streamline order and data flow.
  • Utilize external systems and partner portals (i.e WMS, TMS) to run reports and conduct fulfillment analysis.
  • Perform wholesale MOQ analysis and ensure customer compliance, providing data-driven recommendations.
  • Support the fulfillment and order management processes within NetSuite for regional orders, including entering and tracking order status through delivery.
  • Drive operational excellence across all warehouse activities, including inbound receipt, inventory accuracy, and outbound shipping (LTL, FTL, parcel), ensuring reconciliation across internal working files.
  • Support daily and month end close transaction review and reconciliation.
  • Manage order allocation in partnership with Sales, BAT, and Planning teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with the Logistics team to support transportation planning.
  • Lead the onboarding and integration of new fulfillment location within the network, preparing site for steady state operations and transition to vendor management.
  • Own fulfillment compliance tracking, reconciliation, and enforcement of SOPs, including adherence to customer routing guides.
  • Establish consistent on-site presence to partner with 3PLs to ensure alignment with documented playbooks and executing customer routing guide standards.
  • Coordinate with site leadership to implement productivity and continuous improvement initiatives, including technology and process enhancements.
  • Serve as the primary internal contact for executing FSQA and Inventory Control processes at the location level.
  • Ensure accurate receiving, adherence to FEFO practices, and strong inventory controls across all facilities.
  • Monitor and manage 3PL performance across key metrics: on-time fulfillment, OTIF, order accuracy, inventory accuracy, dock-to-stock time, and cost per order.
  • Maintain proactive communication with 3PL teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement.
  • Analyze monthly invoices from 3PL fulfillment center, and manage review and accrual process.
  • Audit 3PL spend against contracts and budgets; identify inefficiencies and drive corrective actions.
  • Support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with 3PL partners to assess performance, align on goals, and implement improvements.
