About The Position

You will be contacted directly by the facility after applying to this position. HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is seeking an Academic Hospitalist for our Associate Program Director role to help lead our IM Residency Program.

Requirements

• Must be board-certified in Internal Medicine
• 3-5 years post-residency clinical experience required
• Evidence of ongoing involvement in scholarly activity, including peer-reviewed publications
• 2 years of Core Faculty/GME teaching experience

Nice To Haves

• Inpatient and Outpatient care experience is preferred
• Teaching and administrative experience is highly desired

Responsibilities

• Participate in developing our curriculum and maintaining our didactics
• Serve as a role model and mentor to our Internal medicine residents
• Assist with administrative duties, including resident recruitment, clinical competency committee, and program evaluation committee
• Take initiatives in quality improvement projects and other research and scholarly activities
