About The Position

This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day operations of alternative investment funds while supporting investor transactions, data integrity, and process improvements. You will work closely with fund administrators, custodians, advisors, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely management of fund activity. The position provides exposure to private fund operations, new fund launches, and investor communications, giving you a comprehensive understanding of alternative investments. You will help optimize workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure compliance across multiple systems. Collaboration, proactive problem-solving, and attention to detail are critical, as your work directly impacts both client satisfaction and the effectiveness of the investment operations team. This role is ideal for someone seeking hands-on experience in a dynamic, high-impact environment within the investment management sector.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of experience in alternative investments, private fund operations, investor relations, or related roles
  • Hands-on experience with private fund administration, fund structures, and investor transaction processes
  • Familiarity with fund-related documents and agreements such as 1099s, K-1s, PPMs, LPAs, and audit requests
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Investments, or a related field
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proactive and highly organized approach
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Experience with Salesforce, Addepar, or Orion preferred; familiarity with Macros, VBA, SharePoint, and Excel (formulas, pivot tables) highly desired

Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations for private investment funds, including trade support, settlements, and reconciliations with custodians and administrators
  • Process investor transactions such as subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, capital calls, and distributions
  • Serve as a primary contact for fund administrators, advisors, and internal teams to ensure timely communication and coordination
  • Draft, review, and distribute investor communications, including performance updates, quarterly reports, and marketing materials
  • Assist with new fund launches and onboarding, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation
  • Review fund documentation and validate data across multiple systems to maintain accuracy and compliance
  • Identify process gaps and contribute to automation and workflow improvement initiatives
