About The Position

We are looking for an Associate IT Specialist to join our IT operations team at Harbinger Motors. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a strong eagerness to learn and grow.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
1-2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a desktop support or helpdesk role
Familiarity with desktop hardware components, peripherals, and troubleshooting techniques
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and common desktop applications such as Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Office.
Able to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted.

Experience with ITIL or other IT service management methodologies
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or similar are a plus

Responsibilities

Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and software
Respond to service requests and incidents in a professional manner while meeting the designated SLA
Prepare and deploy freshly provisioned computers
Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including laptops, desktops, and accessories
Install, configure, and upgrade desktop hardware and software components, including operating systems, drivers, and applications
Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies
