In this role, you’ll work on the design of a variety of sustainable transportation and non-motorized recreation projects. Principal tasks include establishing design direction and reviewing working drawings for multiple projects. You should be able to effectively manage projects of different scales. Including high-quality, accurate and complete design documents, reports, and analyses. For streetscape, urban design, trail design, and other placemaking projects, you should lead the development of cost estimates and design details for construction documents. Facilitating public engagement and communicating graphically is also expected. Associate landscape designers at Alta are expected to be proficient in CAD and other rendering software. Associates may contribute to some business development and marketing operations and will be expected to be able to successfully manage projects and ensure successful project delivery.
