Covia is looking for a dynamic Associate Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) who will have a positive impact on the Quality team in Ottawa, IL. The LIMS Associate provides administrative support to the team overseeing the Labware LIMS used in the Covia Analytical Services Laboratory and Covia plant locations. The role requires the job holder to gain a detailed understanding of the LIMS system and its maintenance requirements. The job holder will provide support to any projects related to new LabWare development within the lab and plant facilities within Covia, working with the LIMS Administrator and Covia IT. The LIMS Assistant Administrator will work with the LIMS Administrator to process change requests to ensure the LIMS is up to date and meets the needs of both the Analytical Services team and Plant locations. Accurate data entry and attention to detail will be required. The job holder will maintain the LIMS SOP and associated training packages. The successful candidate will have the following Key Accountabilities: Provide administrative support to the team overseeing the Labware LIMS used in the Covia Analytical Services Laboratory and Covia plant locations.
