About The Position

L3Harris Space Systems Sector within the Space and Mission Systems (SMS) Segment is seeking a skilled Integration and Test Engineering Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be responsible for staffing and supporting production space vehicle and payload testing activities. The individual will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, generate processes and procedures to ensure the successful integration, testing, and validation of space products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering principles, hands-on experience with space systems testing, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 6 years prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Experience with RF measurements and testing, tools, and test equipment (Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Logic Analyzers, Signal Generators, O-Scopes, and RF Test Equipment)
  • Experience with the assembly and integration of test tooling and test-sets
  • Familiarity with automation and scripting languages (e.g. LabVIEW, Python, Perl, Ruby, PuTTy, MobaXTerm, Visual Studio code)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a technical information environment
  • Experience interfacing directly with senior leadership and internal/external customers

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team of test technicians working on space vehicles and payloads.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the integration and test team.
  • Ensure direct reports have the necessary tools, training, and resources to perform their tasks efficiently.
  • Develop and implement test processes and procedures to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Monitor project schedules and ensure all milestones are met.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth execution of test activities.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to test activities and results.
  • Perform regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
