About The Position

The Associate Manager, Market Finance & Planning is responsible for providing financial analysis and recommendations to support the continued growth of our Canadian market. This position will be a key thought partner to team members across Finance, Development, Marketing, Control, and more. This position will report to the Director of Strategic Growth, will have an analyst directly report to them, and act as a project owner for key initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a strong corporate finance background that is comfortable working in a P&L, as well as providing broad financial insights and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or similar
  • 5+ years relevant corporate finance work experience (QSR / retail / multi-unit franchise industry experience a plus)
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools and creating dashboards or other reporting for senior leadership (Domo, PowerBI experience helpful)
  • Strong internal motivation, intellectual curiosity, logical thinking and desire to have a large impact on our organization
  • Demonstrated success presenting to and influencing diverse customers or stakeholders and leading teams that include non-direct reports in cross-functional settings
  • Highly proficient with PowerPoint, Excel required (experience using AI a plus)
  • Ability to work across time zones and geographies

Responsibilities

  • Lead marketing analysis efforts across the market including modeling future program financials, monitoring existing program performance, and analyzing past offer results. Includes collaboration with franchisees, supply chain, food innovation, and marketing partners.
  • Monitor and analyze the financial health of our franchise system and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Own the recurring financial planning and forecasting efforts at the business-unit level including sales forecasting, G&A management, and more.
  • Own our profitable growth pillar and related projects including strategic pricing, investment planning, and protecting franchisee returns.
  • Provide support to global and shared Finance and Control teams on market specific reporting and requests.
