About The Position

Our US Marketplace Strategy & Operations team is responsible for building, scaling and improving the way in which we provide Restaurant delivery. We build our restaurant selection, test 0 → 1 products to give merchants more opportunity to delight their consumers, and optimize ways to improve our marketplace to increase the return on investment our partners gain from partnering with DoorDash. This team focuses on all things Restaurants ranging from selection, to merchandising, to consumer strategy, to leveraging our logistics network in new ways, to so much more! We are seeking an Associate Manager to join our Marketplace Strategy & Operations team, with a focus on the U.S. Restaurant Acquisition Targeting. This role is critical to developing and operationalizing the targeting strategy that powers the growth of our U.S. restaurant business. You will be the connective tissue across cross-functional teams—including Sales Ops, Data Science, and Engineering—to identify the right restaurants to target, ensure the right infrastructure is in place, and enable seamless execution across multiple business lines. This role is a true Swiss Army knife: part strategic thinker, part data analyst, part operator. You’ll need to be comfortable working with large data sets, drawing insights to influence decision-making, and leading initiatives across multiple pods to drive business outcomes. Requirements

  • You have 4+ years of experience in a problem solving role - Consulting, Tech, Banking, Food & Beverage, etc.
  • You have a completed BA/BS degree in a quantitative field (engineering, mathematics, business, etc.)
  • You’re highly analytical and comfortable working with SQL and large data sets
  • You thrive in ambiguity and enjoy building from 0 to 1
  • You have strong cross-functional leadership skills and can influence without authority
  • You can zoom out to think strategically and zoom in to execute tactically
  • You are a collaborator. You have experience with stakeholder management across diverse audiences, from front-line doers to senior executives.
  • Must be comfortable regularly exercising discretion and independent judgment in performing job duties, including evaluating options, making informed decisions, and determining appropriate courses of action within the scope of assigned responsibilities.

Responsibilities
