Join us in shaping the future of aerospace and defense!Compensation DataCompensation Range: $83,535.00 - $104,419.00Job SummaryAs a member of the Manufacturing Engineering Team, you will be reporting to the Lead Manufacturing Engineer, and your role will be to support the day-to-day Operations Team within the Value Stream.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering fields, especially Physics, Chemistry, Aerospace, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering. Will consider associate’s degree in engineering and 4 years of professional experience in manufacturing, in lieu of Bachelors.
  • One year of manufacturing experience.
  • US Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site requirements.

  • Prior experience in plastics, composites, glass processing or laminating industries

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for manufacturing operations
  • Review and disposition non-conforming material / MRB (Material Review Board) support to steady state programs
  • Track product and process performance, identify key process characteristics the effect product yields
  • Participate in daily operational management meetings for assigned product areas
  • Participate in structured problem-solving projects linked to manufacturing issues around yield or cost improvement
  • Refine and improve manufacturing work instructions to improve consistency and efficiency
  • Collaborate across teams, supporting a positive and solutions driven work culture
  • Be willing to provide support to other product and process areas
