About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to shape and implement observability strategies for key clients, driving measurable outcomes across modern infrastructure and application environments. As an Associate Observability Architect, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor, guiding customers through their observability journey while ensuring adoption, efficiency, and ROI. You will design solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with engineers, architects, and SREs to integrate observability tools into mission-critical systems. This position requires a hands-on technical mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously. Your work will directly impact long-term customer success and the effective use of observability platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical support, technical account management, consulting, or professional services within the technology industry.
  • Familiarity with observability solutions; experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki is a plus.
  • Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects concurrently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with remote teams and global clients.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to meet with clients as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
  • Architect and guide the implementation of observability solutions across diverse infrastructure and applications.
  • Lead technical discovery, onboarding, enablement, and health checks to ensure adoption and customer success.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to identify issues affecting performance, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Advise clients on best practices, technical roadmaps, and strategies to optimize observability outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver technical documentation, guides, tutorials, and training sessions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to relay client feedback and influence product roadmap and feature development.
  • Identify opportunities for clients to expand use of the platform, optimize costs, and adopt new features.
