The Associate Patient Care Coordinator will be the first point of contact with patients, ensure the visit runs smoothly ensuring quality of care. Showing the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, all while providing great customer service. You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 6+ months of customer service experience
- Beginner level of knowledge of medical terminology, precautions and exposure risks
Nice To Haves
- Healthcare experience included but not limited to front desk, EMR and insurance verification
- Bilingual Spanish/English
Responsibilities
- Obtaining all patient demographics (Correct name, DOB, insurance information)
- Confirm and schedule appointments
- Check in and check out patients
- Answering phones and documenting calls
- Verifying insurance and benefits
- Works on simple tasks using established procedures
- Responds to standard requests
- Solves routine problems by following established procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
