About The Position

The Associate Pharmacy Technician performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner. Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system. Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Texas Registered Pharmacy Technician License, or
• Texas Pharmacy Technician Trainee
• Located within a commutable distance of our office location listed below: Texas: Lubbock
• Flexible and available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on departmental needs and operational requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program
• Inpatient experience
• Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR)
