About The Position

We are a Digital Product Engineering company that is scaling in a big way! We build products, services, and experiences that inspire, excite, and delight. We work at scale — across all devices and digital mediums, and our people exist everywhere in the world (18000+ experts across 29 countries, to be exact). Our work culture is dynamic and non-hierarchical. We are looking for great new colleagues. That is where you come in! Role Summary A highly technical Business Analyst to lead the data mapping efforts for a critical migration program. The ideal candidate is a “Data BA” who is comfortable digging into the Salesforce backend and legacy databases (DB2/IMS) to define precise transformation logic for our engineering team. You will not just be gathering requirements; you will be authoring the technical blueprints (STTMS) that drive the migration to Snowflake.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Data Analyst in ETL/Data Migration projects.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Excel and Lucid Chart for creating comprehensive data dictionaries and mapping sheets.
  • Deep understanding of the Salesforce data model (Standard Objects, Custom Objects, API names, Schema Builder).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, aggregations, data profiling) and familiarity with Cloud Data Warehouses (Snowflake, AWS Redshift).
  • Experience working with legacy data sources (Mainframe, DB2, IMS) is highly preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Admin certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Data Mapping & STTMS Author detailed Source-to-Target Mapping Specifications (STTMS) mapping Legacy and Salesforce fields to Snowflake. Documentation must include precise transformation logic, data type conversions, and handling of nulls/edge cases.
  • Gap Analysis Identify structural differences between the source (e.g., hierarchical legacy data) and target (Salesforce/Snowflake relational models) and propose technical solutions to bridge them.
  • Collaboration Act as the translator between business stakeholders and Data Engineers, ensuring mapping logic is technically feasible and business-compliant.
  • Salesforce Analysis Independently navigate the Salesforce Object Model (Object Manager) to identify custom objects, API field names, and hidden relationships without relying solely on developers.
