The Role + Purpose: The Associate Manager, Production supports seasonal product development from concept to production, serving as a key cross-functional liaison across Design, Merchandising, Tech Design, and R&D. This role ensures cohesive assortment building, on-time delivery, and alignment with brand aesthetic and financial targets. This role touches every stage of the product lifecycle—from seasonal calendar setup to production follow-up—requiring strong cross-functional collaboration and attention to detail. Support seasonal product development from concept to production, collaborating with Design and Merchandising to ensure a cohesive assortment aligned with brand aesthetic and financial targets. Serve as a cross-functional liaison between Design, Merchandising, Tech Design, and R&D; manage timelines, sample tracking, and vendor communications to ensure on-time delivery. Set up and maintain seasonal Time and Action calendars; articulate deadlines to internal counterparts and support timely feedback across all cross-functional teams. Facilitate proto, presentation, and photo sample requests alongside the Assistant Manager—including sending packages, generating tech packs, and vendor follow-up—while tracking samples to meet ETA deadlines. Negotiate costing with vendors to hit financial targets; attend all fit sessions and follow up on cost updates resulting from fit changes; monitor production and material minimum order quantity issues; maintain production files supporting all product record keeping.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in production or product management.
  • Knowledge of Time and Action calendars and seasonal product development processes.
  • Proficiency in PLM systems and Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-through skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize effectively, and communicate clearly across cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fashion or apparel production, particularly in a wholesale or direct-to-consumer environment.
  • Familiarity with vendor negotiation and costing processes is a plus, but not required.
