The Director of NIHC Interprofessional Practice and Education is responsible for overseeing the development, growth, implementation, and assessment of the interprofessional educational curriculum. The Director works closely with PNWU academic programs, the PNWU Simulation Center, and external institutional partners to ensure curricular activities align with accreditation requirements and strategic priorities. The Director works in parallel with the Director of NIHC Operations who manages the NIHC budget, policy and procedure development related to NIHC activities, and the delivery of the NICH curricular offerings and program outcomes assessment and reporting. The NIHC Director of Interprofessional Practice and Education reports directly to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost. The Associate Professor of occupational therapy serves in the MSOT program under the direction of the Dean. The emphasis will be on the development of program objectives, goals, curriculum, policies and assessment including the clinical education component and other duties as assigned by the Dean.
